Suddenly Saturday. And suddenly nearly the middle of February.

I don't know why I'm just now getting back to this. I was being pretty good about posting twice a week for about six months, and then December happened, and like many other bloggers, I decided to take a holiday break. Perhaps I should have said "Hey, I'm taking a break, but I'll be back on this date," and then I would actually go ahead and write a post and schedule it to post on that date. It didn't happen. I sort of woke up in mid-January and eked out one silly post. But I just couldn't get myself back into cranking out another Etsy Tuesday, or even a F. R. I. D. A. Y. post. Looking back at those posts from the past year, they just all look the same, and I don't really feel like doing the same old thing week in and week out.

So maybe this means I'm not the dedicated blogger that I was trying to revive back in June, or maybe it means I just need to change things up one more time...or two or three more times, if that's what it takes. I might still want to find some fun things to show you from my prowling around Etsy, but maybe not every week, or even every month. I'll definitely want to share links that I find on other blogs and in my own browsing through this digital world, but I don't have to share them on a particular day of the week. For sure I'll want to throw in a picture or two of my grandchildren, because that's a lot of what this blog has always been about. Maybe I'll just go back to the wordless, photo-centric posts that used to happen here. And more of these rambling, full-of-ellipses posts that are more me than anything else. Yeah...I think that's what's about to happen here...for better or for worse...
