Save some daylight for me.

Tonight's the night...that we lose the light.  Ugh.  I want daylight savings time to stay forever.  I hate when it gets dark early.  Winter seems like the time when we should stay sprung forward, doesn't it?   Maybe that's why the time legislators keep shoving those dates later in the fall and earlier in the spring.  By the time I'm so old that I want to just go to bed, we'll have daylight extending until nine p.m. in January.

Much going on here, so all my best-laid plans for blogging keep getting pushed aside.  Today Jen and Mom and I are off to a bridal shower.  My nephew Sean is getting married in January, so we're pretty excited to finally officially welcome Marisol into the family.  Next Saturday is Jen's second baby shower, hosted by four of her friends, but held at her house.  Naturally she is anxious to have the nursery ready to show off, so I have been working to finish one very large element of the decor.  I'm taking pictures of the progress, so I can post the results here in a couple of days.  And two weeks from today, I'll be participating in the Spectacular Fall Bazaar at Everman United Methodist Church.  That means I've got to make a LOT more jewelry between now and then.

I hope you're enjoying my Treasury Tuesday posts.  I was excited to see that the last one brought 49 visitors to my blog, including 32 from Israel!  HPerl, the artist who created that treasury, lives in Israel and promoted the post on Facebook and on Etsy's Israeli members' forums.  And she was very nice to include me in another of her lovely treasuries, so here it is...

Many thanks to HPerl....and be sure to check back Tuesday for another of her treasuries.  Meanwhile, have a great weekend, and don't forget to fall back if you're in a locality that participates in this time-changing foolishness.
